Mon avis : 

Je serai sans doute passé à côté de The Mystery of Mrs. Christie sans mon club de lecture. Une couverture romantique, un titre quelconque et pourtant c’est un roman que j’ai beaucoup aimé.

Au centre du roman, la célèbre Agatha Christie, que nous suivons sur deux époques en parallèle. Elle nous raconte sa rencontre avec son époux, son mariage et sa vie de couple d’un coté tandis qu’entre deux se glissent des chapitres qui relate sa disparition survenue en 1926. Son mari est alors au centre du récit. On comprend très vite que leur relation n’est plus ce qu’elle était.

Cette disparition est réelle pourtant presque 100 ans après, on ne connait toujours pas ce qui se cache derrière cela. L’auteure imagine donc un scénario plausible. Et c’est vraiment très réussi parce que j’ai été tenue en haleine du début à la fin.

Agatha Christie est un personnage très intéressant et j’ai adoré découvrir un peu plus sur sa vie personnelle. Elle est attachante et ce roman m’a donné envie de lire ou de relire certains de ses romans.
